The Financial Analyst will work closely with senior members of the team to provide valuation and advisory services to clients.
your day-to-day will consist of:
- Assisting firm leadership in all aspects of client engagements including the proposal and engagement letter process, financial analyses, and report writing.
- Presenting work in one-on-one setting as well as team meetings, and client presentations/conference calls.
- Participating in meetings and calls with clients, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Assisting with other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.
Conducting valuation analyses using a range of methodologies, including discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions analysis, and other relevant methods.

- Building detailed models inclusive of pro forma forecasts and other analyses.
- Analyzing information provided by clients and ensuring valuation models accurately reflect this information.
- Analyze complex financial data and extract relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of understanding past financial performance and to project financial probability.
- Using analytical tools and various databases to aid in the development of the valuation analysis.
- Conducting industry and economic research and analysis to support valuation and advisory activities.
- Writing clear and concise proposals and engagement letters that demonstrate the abilities of the firm in accordance with specified terms and conditions.
- Writing clear and concise reports that effectively communicate work product and results to clients.
- Reviewing reports and other client deliverables prepared by both internal personnel and subcontractors to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- At least 2-3 years of business or applicable experience
- Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting and discussing client deliverables
- Ability to work independently in a deadline driven environment with the knowledge and awareness to escalate issues when necessary
- Ability to work closely with all levels of personnel up to and including senior leadership
- High level of professionalism and maturity
- Proficient to Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
